Comments: The character belongs to Zoingishly of deviantART. I believe it was a slightly overdue art trade image, but it turned out to be worth the wait. I wanted to do a more realistic style of water magic, rather than blue blobs. I think it worked out well. The sketch shows through weirdly in some places, but otherwise I really like this image. It was entered in a fantasy art contest, which was sadly cancelled.
